I am a blind individual and BA stole £599 of my money. This happened last year in August. I have raised a complaint with your customer relations team and nothing. I need someone from head office to call me on 07444916715
Re: Booking J329NA; Ticket # 125-2161210857-58; Case # 01713441
I booked flight from LOS – DEN – PHL – LOS through the British Airways (BA). BA booked the DEN – PHL flight through American Airlines (AA). The AA flight was cancelled night before the departure. I called BA Customer rep in London who cancelled the AA bookings and rebooked me with United Airlines (UA). When I got to the Airport, the UA counter informed that only reservation was made without any payment by BA. The only way out was to make a payment myself if I want to go on the trip which I did.
I called your customer service, who navigated me how to submit the case on your website. Your staff who responded to the case said that I should contact AA for the refund and not BA. He posited that BA will not refund me.
I had to call your London Office directly, where I was informed that the American Airlines actually REFUNDED back to British Airways and United Airlines was NOT PAID. Inadvertently, your staff who attended to the case did not investigate the matter. I was told that the matter will be escalated for the refund of the ticket paid to be refunded, which I am yet to receive. I have paid a sum of FOUR HUNDRED FORTY FIVE and FORTY-EIGHT CENTS ($445.48) to UA for the same journey already paid to the BA.
I am requesting the refund of the $445.48 that I paid to United Airways.
