Upon arrival at my destination, I discovered that my checked luggage was another passage bad. Also noticed the baggage claim staff was trying to contacted me about the issue, but unfortunately my cell phone was off due to rules and regulations, cellphone on airplane mode of turn off. Upon contacting the assistance, the help that I received was disrespectful and demanding. I made a point to them that I was news in this country and asked if they please send Copas transportation or sharing my transportation cost with the other customer and the airline. My plead fall into death ear, instead I received accusation and treat about reporting to the police. I decided to return the bag to the airport even though it cost me a great deal taxis’ money.
Several pieces of jewelry were lost, including a particularly valuable item that holds significant personal and monetary value. This loss has caused me considerable inconvenience and distress. I need my bag because I it was full of new clothes for this trip and I left a very important small bag of jewelries with a specific “pair of white gold earrings with emerald stones around them.” With the estimated value approximately of $150.00.
I kindly request your immediate assistance in recovering the lost jewelry. Furthermore, I would like to know the procedures for filing a claim for compensation for the lost items. Please provide guidance on the next steps I should take to address this matter.
